Installing Inspiration 12 on ARM devices with Windows

With Inspiration 12.1, this additional installation requirement for single user licenses on ARM Windows devices is no longer required. Please download Inspiration 12.1 from here: Inspiration Installation Files.

If you are Installing an Inspiration 12 single user license on a Windows ARM device, once the installation is complete, please take this extra step to finalize installation. This is a one-off step to get started. This extra step is not required for enterprise license agreements e.g. single user enterprise license, volume license agreement and site license agreement.

1. Go to the installed application folder, normally:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Inspiration 12
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Inspiration 12 IE

2. Right click on the Insp12.exe or Insp12IE.exe and in the context menu choose Properties.
3. Click on the Compatibility tab and choose under Windows on ARM, Change emulation settings.

On the next screen, change the Emulation setting from Default to Safe Emulation, and click OK.

Then back on the previous menu, choose Apply.

4. Then run Insp12.exe or Insp12IE.exe as administrator by right clicking on the program and choosing to Run as Administrator.

5. The program will launch and you will see this screen:

Finally activate the license or start the trial.
