What is error code 9101 or 9105?
If you are prompted with error code 9101 or 9105, this generally means Inspiration was unable to reach our licensing server to activate the licence, due to a firewall or proxy server that may be blocking communication. Configuration changes to your firewall/ proxy server to allow communication to our licensing server should fix this issue. Typically, whitelisting secure.softwarekey.com will allow Inspiration to connect to the server.
Troubleshooting this issue:
Start by opening a fresh browser window, and then navigate to the following address
If you can reach SOLO Server, you should simply see the text "OK" in the web browser.
If you cannot see the "OK" text, then something on your end is blocking the connection to SOLO Server. Our licensing system uses the same underlying technology as web browsers for activation. This means only connections on ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS) need to be allowed. Please ensure the following web addresses (endpoints) are whitelisted for activating and licence validation:
See Client activation ports and SOLO Server IP address for more details.
Alternatively you can activate the licence manually, by following the steps in this help article.
